Samsung May Launch The Galaxy S21 Earlier Than Expected And The Reason Makes Sense

Samsung is looking to launch its next Galaxy S flagship smartphones earlier than its usual launch time. The Galaxy S series usually launches between February and March around the world. However, it seems like Samsung doesn’t need to wait any longer.

The next Galaxy S21 launch is expected to take place in January 2021 according to website SamMobile. The website follows everything related to Samsung very closely and most of the times have revealed reliable information about Samsung launches in the past. The report claims that the smartphone may even be called the Galaxy S30 and kick off production sometime In December.

Having said that, Samsung releasing its next flagship phone earlier than usual has a very good reason behind it. The report suggests Samsung is launching the smartphone earlier because of Huawei’s absence from the smartphone ecosystem around the world. Huawei usually launches new devices a month before Samsung and ever since the company has been banned from trading with the US companies, Samsung is looking to take advantage of Huawei’s disadvantage.

The Galaxy S21 or S30’s design was leaked last week where it showed the press renders of the smartphone. It showed what the smartphone might look like and many Galaxy fans responded negatively. The render was spotted on Chinese certification website 3C and later posted by @OnLeaks on Twitter. The listing also detailed that the smartphone will come with 65W fast-charging capabilities; a 144Hz refresh display and a camera module that looks very awkward. The camera module has a wrap-around design with the body of the phone and a noticeable bump similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Are you ready for another flagship smartphone by Samsung early next year? Samsung is expected to use the latest Exynos/Qualcomm chipset for the smartphone and bring improvements in the camera performance as well. We aren’t sure about the specifications yet. However, it seems like the new hardware will have noticeable gains in the overall performance.
