Chai is not a beverage for Indians. It is an emotion. Anything can be better with a steamy cup of tea to get you through it.

A Twitter user, IPS officer Ankita Sharma shared a video on her Twitter account which shows two men being taken to the police van by cops.

The reason for them being arrested is unknown. However, what’s interesting is that the two men are holding on to their cups of tea even when being arrested.

If this is not true love for chai, we don’t know what is.

She posted the video with the caption, “Ye hum hain, ye humari chai hai, baaki baad me dekhenge.”

In the comments, she also added, “What I liked about the cops is they are not even throwing their cups, and letting them drink chai, how sensitive.” And we agree!

Desi Twitter could relate with the men in the video. They not only found it totally acceptable for the men to not give up their tea, but also appreciated the police officers for letting the poor guys have their chai.
