Watch Ishan Kishan Fix Himself Like A School Boy After Seeing Tendulkar & It’s Pure Respect

As the Mumbai Indians exited the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League having failed to make it to the playoffs this year, an old video has been going viral in which wicket-keeper and batter Ishan Kishan could be seen behaving like a nervous schoolboy in front of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Kishan, who was struggling to have himself a decent run in the initial days of the season, managed to return to his form with just a couple of matches remained for Rohit Sharma’s squad.

Feeling confident and showing faith in himself, the southpaw was showing off his swag in the MI dressing room. After the match between MI and DC earlier this month, the 23-year old had his earbuds on, his bag over his shoulders, his phone in his hands, and sunglasses on his eyes.

This is probably why it took him some time to realise that Tendulkar was also present in the room and that he was out of line for behaving like a child in front of the man who is known as ‘The God of Cricket’.

Having said that, once Kishan spotted the all-time great sitting in one corner of the dressing room, he quickly got rid of the bag, took off the earbuds and sunglasses almost as if he had seen his angry school principal.

With a boyish smile, the Patna-born fixed his hair as well and walked towards Tendulkar, presumably to seek an apology.

As the rest of the teammates witnessed the whole episode unfold, it was evident that Tendulkar was also enjoying being present in front of the young batter during such a hilarious moment. Without hesitation, the 48-year old offered a smile, making other MI teammates loosen up a bit.

Vice-captain and West Indies great Kieron Pollard was also seen laughing at the whole scenario but banging on his knee hysterically.

Kishan’s return to form could not have come at a more opportune time, especially with the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 about to start in the same Venue as IPL 2021. According to Kishan, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli had already promised him an opener’s position in the Indian squad.
