Saif Ali Khan is one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood and is known for his stellar performances. However, the actor has also made headlines because of his bold and controversial statements. He is someone who makes his voice heard and doesn’t shy away from sharing his opinions on all sorts of topics. 

We as a society still consider *** as taboo and Saif shared his bold views on the subject back in the 90s. In a Cosmopolitan report, Saif gave a very explosive interview to Stardust magazine wherein he gave his bold outlook on *** and how he has never wronged any woman on the pretext of just sleeping with him.

In the interview, he is quoted saying, "*** has its relevance, but it isn't anything novel. It's been so since Eve tempted Adam. *** has been one of the first forms of communications between a man and a woman. My physical need is as important as my emotional need. I can't separate them although there have been times when my emotions have been least involved when I've been with a woman."

He further added, "The woman has always known the equation. I've never said, 'I Love You' to a woman just to get her into my bed. I have ever had to read *** manuals to learn the techniques. My technique is my own. I have always treated my woman with respect. Today, I wouldn't respond to a woman who came on to me. I'm a married man. I wouldn't do anything to hurt my wife. I'd smile and say 'sorry ma'am, wrong number.' I've grown up abroad and lived on my own. I've seen blue films and live shows. The average Indian male is not as exposed to *** as the average guy abroad. That's why the Indian male is frustrated."

Back in the days, celebs spoke freely and weren’t scared of the consequences as there was no digitalisation. Nowadays, all the statements by celebs are bashed by the trolls making them think at least thrice before giving any statements. 

On the work front, Saif has wrapped up the second schedule of his upcoming film Vikram Vedha. The movie is set to release on September 30, 2022. Hrithik Roshan and Radhika Apte will be seen in crucial roles. Vikram Vedha is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name, directed by husband-wife duo Pushkar and Gayathri. The 2017 thriller starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan.
