iPhone 12 Will Not Be The Only Thing Launching This Week And Here’s What We Can Expect

Apple has finally revealed the launch date of the next iPhone at its upcoming event on October 13, however it will not be the only thing the company will be launching. While the main focus will be the new iPhone, Apple is gearing to launch several accessories alongside the phones as well. While many of the products have been rumoured to launch, Apple did something last week that made it even more plausible.

In the case of Ultimate Ears, there were rumours of Apple launching a smaller HomePod that would be a direct competitor to what Ultimate Ears offers. The smaller HomePod will look similar to its bigger variant, however the fact that Apple removed Bluetooth speakers that somewhat resembles Apple’s own offering, shows that Apple is gearing up to sell their own audio products. It was not only Ultimate Ears that took the fall as Apple also removed popular smart speaker brand ‘Sonos’ from their portfolio as well.

“The Cupertino, California-based technology giant has long sold third-party hardware on its website, one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world. All headphones and speakers from Bose, speakers from Logitech’s Ultimate Ears brand, and Sonos’s latest smart speaker disappeared from Apple’s online store at the end of last month..” Apple said in a statement.

This is not the first time Apple has removed competing products from their stores as the Cupertino giant did something similar with fitness trackers. All fitness trackers were removed from Apple Stores ahead of the launch of the first Apple Watch. These moves can only prove one thing, Apple will be launching these accessories alongside the new iPhone next week at its annual event.

Apple has already announced a new lineup of iPads and Apple Watch which means the company has a lot more in store for customers next week. If you want to know more in detail about what Apple could launch at this event, check out our full prediction here
