There have been plenty of rumours about a new affordable iPhone that many have touted as the new iPhone SE 2. A fresh leak shows off renders of the new phone that gives us a closer look at the smartphone in question. 

The new leak from renowned leaker @Onleaks and iGeeksBlog shows the full view of the device and from other points of views. These images are based on renders from a leak which means the design can change once it eventually launches. We advise you to take this rumour with a pinch of salt.

The image reveals a slimmer phone that has rounded edges, big bezels, a lightning port and no 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPhone in the image looks awfully similar to the iPhone 8 and is probably why the smartphone will be a bit more affordable as it is using a design previously used by Apple.

Since it looks so similar to the iPhone 8, there is a good chance that this upcoming phone may just be called the iPhone 9. However, there will be upgrades under the hood that may include a more powerful chipset, better camera and a bigger battery. Since it will be a new smartphone by Apple, it will also probably run iOS 13 out of the box.

These renders also may not look exactly like the final product as previous leaks have indicated different design aspects before. However, it remains to be seen whether the new iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 will launch with these designs. Currently, there is no news when the smartphone will launch and how much it will cost.
