  1. Sonu Sood is used to being the man of the moment, given what the entire country witnessed over the past 2 years. After keeping a low profile as a Bollywood celeb for many years, this man rose like a phoenix once the pandemic hit. However, the fact that he can do the same in the fields of fitness and fashion, is something the paps are noticing of late. View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram He reminded everyone of the same once again, when he was spotted at the airport in a smart but understated outfit. © Viral Bhayani The full black tee coupled with that mustard brown pair of pants definitely create an impact that's demure yet exudes quiet confidence. © Viral Bhayani However, what everyone was looking at was the accessory he rocked with that outfit. © Viral Bhayani Sonu was wearing a steel blue watch with an epic dial that managed to turn all heads around. The make of the watch along with the aesthetic is proof that this man definitely does know his time gizmos. © Oris Sonu wore the Aquis Chronograph watch by Oris, that costs a whopping 2.8 lakhs INR. The watch is a definite collectible, with its stainless steel and rubber exterior. © Oris His overall outfit included a playful mask and a pair of white sneakers that perfectly complemented those other elements. © Viral Bhayani Looks like Mr Sood has it all figured out! 2. Of late, Karan Johar has been making a lot of public appearances and he is mostly seen wearing zany, luxurious pieces. His fashion choices are such that they never fail to grab our attention and that's mostly because of the style as well as the hefty price tag attached to the pieces he wears. Take for example the time we spotted him carrying a Fendi fanny pack worth a Lakh to Varun Dhawan's Haldi ceremony. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani All this makes one thing pretty clear, and it's that Karan will continue to keep wowing us with his extravagant fashion statements and honestly, we don't mind. © Viral Bhayani Talking about his latest airport appearance, Karan was recently seen at the Mumbai airport, flaunting a life jacket sort of an outfit, and if you notice, all the pieces are from a high-end luxury brand. However, it's his giant sneakers that take the cake for sure. Let's take a closer look at his outfit: View the full article
  3. Restaurant reservation app Dineout recently published a fascinating annual report, and amongst a list of interesting statistics, one in particular stands out. It seems like the city of Bengaluru has become an undisputed dining hotspot, with one man footing a bill of Rs 2,76,988 at a pub, while another watering hole clocked in over 1 million diners. That's a lot of dishes to wash and bottles to recycle. In fact, the bill is so ridiculous, it's just about what you'd pay to step out of a showroom with a brand new Maruti Alto or Datsun Redi-Go. Not interested in a car? The bill could also cover a trip to London and back again - in Emirates first class seats. Meanwhile, Udaipur stepped up as well - it seems like the 'City of Lakes' played host to the biggest number of couples, with the highest number of 'tables for two'. Indore had the most 'tables for four' reservations and oddly enough, seemed to dine out most often on Thursdays - 60% of Indians dined out on weekends, specifically. With the rise of restaurant culture in India's metros and a no-cooking lifestyle emerging across India's urban youth, it's not surprising that Indians dined out over 5 billion times last year, with 52% of us preferring to dine at casual restaurants as opposed to fast food outlets and fine dining options. Close to 4566 tables were reserved per hour, and the average bill value for dining out was Rs 1600, whereas for ordering in, it was Rs 300. It's also interesting to note that Indians are pretty late eaters - the global average dinnertime sits between 6PM and 8PM, while desi dinners usually happen between 8PM and 10PM. Gotta' blame post-work traffic for that one. So if you're worried that you've been spending too much on dining out, don't worry. You're certainly not alone. View the full article
  4. On 25th April, Gautam Gambhir sent shockwaves across the country after announcing that he was stepping down as captain of Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The surprising decision stemmed from Delhi's dismal run in the eleventh edition of India's T20 league. With just one win and five defeats in six games, Delhi have found themselves languishing at the eighth spot in the points tally. Beginning their campaign with six-wicket loss against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Delhi were undone by Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their second game which was marred by rain. Their first victory this season came against defending champions Mumbai who were tamed by Jason Roy's blitzkrieg in their own den. BCCI But, just when the Delhi fans had begun dreaming, their demons once again came out crawling from the closet. Losing to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab, Delhi's misfortunes in the league continued this season. With just one win and five losses in six games so far, Delhi are languishing at a lowly eighth spot in the points table, requiring seven wins in their remaining eight matches to remain in contention for the Playoffs. True, that I've stepped down from DD captaincy. Just to clarify it was my call, nothing from the management or coaching staff. I may not be leading from the front but I will be the last man standing for @DelhiDaredevils. No individual bigger than d team. Very much a #DilDIlli — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) April 25, 2018 As much Delhi's unfavourable results this season, Gambhir's personal form also seems to have taken a toll on the Delhi cricketer. For a man who slammed 3,345 runs in 122 games for Kolkata and guided them to two IPL titles, Gambhir has been a shadow of himself this year. In six matches, Gambhir has managed to score just 85 runs, which includes an innings of 55 that he scored against Kings XI Punjab in Delhi's opening match of the season in Mohali. Since then, Gambhir has poor scores of DNB, 15, 8, 3 and 4 respectively. BCCI If he wanted, Gambhir could have easily carried on leading Delhi in the remaining matches of the IPL. He wouldn't have been blamed for Delhi's dismal show, especially when the entire team has failed to click as a unit. But, he didn't do that. Rather than selfishly passing on the blame and carrying the mantle for hapless Delhi, Gambhir stepped down and appears to focus on contributing with the willow. But, that's not all. If Gambhir's unselfish act earned him the title of a 'brave captain', the fact that he was sacrificed his Rs 2.8-crore salary after deciding to play for Delhi for free in the ongoing season. "Gautam has decided that he won't take any salary from the franchise for the season. He will play remaining part of IPL for the Delhi Daredevils for free," PTI reported. BCCI "Gautam is someone who puts pride above everything else. He has been a proud performer. He doesn't want to take any money and it's a very personal call. In fact, he wanted to quit just after the KXIP game," the report further added. Gautam Gambhir HATS OFF to you man!!!! You are more than an inspiration idol! He just forego his salary cuz of non performance n will be playing rest of the matches of the season for free..! Who in the cricketing world has so much courage??! I Stan Mr Gambhir ?? — Addy #GG ?? (@dreamsredefined) April 25, 2018 While he is still available for the season as a player, he will take a call on his future only after the IPL gets over. He'll play the entire tournament without any salary. . . That is Gautam Gambhir for you. A man with the purest heart ? — Sukanya Chatterjee (@GautiSukanya) April 25, 2018 "I don't know, it's too early for me to decide on that. Let me sit down and decide. I have to think where my game goes and I go as an individual," Gambhir said during a media interaction.
