After Sidharth Shukla's sudden demise on Thursday, the nation was left in a state of disbelief. The actor, who was known for his stint in Bigg Boss 13 and was an established star of the Indian Television industry, passed away at a very young age. Several celebrities came forward to console his friends and family and joined the nation in mourning the loss of a beloved star and an incredible person. On Monday, though, actor Saqib Saleem called out the media and the paparazzi in a post for their 'insensitive coverage' of Sidharth's demise. Many celebs questioned the culture, including Kriti Sanon and Gauhar Khan and now, Saqib has come forward lashing out at those who have 'created this circus' © Instagram/Sidharth Shukla © Instagram/Saqib Saleem In a long post, he said, "Have been meaning to talk about a few things for the past couple of days. The last few days have been really hard on a lot of us. Though I didn't know Sidharth Shukla personally but somehow the loss seems personal. Such a young good looking man just gone suddenly.. Can't even imagine what the family must be going through.” He further called the media 'vultures' and said, "Have been watching videos of the funeral and my heart broke as to how insensitive we have become. Everything has become content for us.” © Instagram/Saqib Saleem Sidharth's rumoured Shehnaz Gill was also present at the time of the funeral but was hounded by the media. Not just that, her pictures and videos were shared on several social media pages, which infuriated people as well. Saqib said, "I get the fact you need to click pictures, that's how portals run but n the process you have become vultures. Sticking a camera to someone’s face has to be one of the most inhuman things one can do..You want to click a picture pls do..but give people the space to grieve. I saw a video of Shehnaaz getting out of the car and hundreds of cameramen/photographers hounding her.” © Instagram/Saqib Saleem He also mentioned that actors are to be blamed for this. "We (actors) have created this circus. We give these photographers access to our lives. From telling them what time we go to the gym, to what restaurant we eat at. Telling them our flight schedules so that they can come and click a picture and put it out. They charge a fee to do that and we happily pay them. This has been going on for a while but what this has done is that it's made them look at us as an Instagram post. I am writing this to remind all of us life is beyond all of this." © Instagram/Saqib Saleem Saqib lambasted the media for taking the camera closer to Shehnaz as she was grieving. He finally concluded the post by offering his condolences to Sidharth's family. Sidharth was cremated in Oshiwara with this family and friends in attendance.
