Swami Sivananda has always said he eats very simple food that is oil-free and without spices. He prefers eating rice and boiled daal (lentil stew). He also abstains from taking milk or fruits because he thinks they are fancy foods. "I lead a simple and disciplined life. I eat very simply -- only boiled food without oil or spices, rice and boiled daal (lentil stew) with a couple of green chilies," he had told news agency AFP back in 2016. His healthy and long life has garnered attention from across the globe, especially after being a vocal supporter of Covid-19 vaccination after himself getting vaccinated at the age of 125 years. Virat Kohli became only the 12th Indian cricketer to play 100 Test matches for the country when he took the field in Mohali in the first Test of the two-match series against Sri Lanka last week. The former India captain is known to take the field with a win at all cost attitude and often his approach towards the game is mistaken for arrogance. While he wears his heart on his sleeve on the field, off the field Kohli has shown time and again how much he cares about his fans and similar scenes were on display at the IS Bindra stadium after India's emphatic win over Sri Lanka. One of the easiest ways to tell whether a picture is from India or not, would be to check for two things - chaos and traffic. As long as there is some sort of a rush in the pictures, whether it is in terms of people crowding in a market or cars crowding on a road to the point that it creates hour-long traffic jams, one could safely assume that it would be an Indian road. There was not even a single person trying to scoot their vehicle from the sidelines or cross over a red light. I have seen this kind of discipline only in Mizoram.
