Just like her strong performances, the actress’ love life too stayed in the limelight. Well, her most controversial affair was with Nana Patekar, who was already married and 20-years older than her. Mind you, Erasmus is no rookie. The former South Africa cricketer is one of the most respected cricket umpires in the world. He has officiated in 107 Tests, 158 ODIs and 51 T20Is and many regard him as the best in the business. © Reuters A match official of his stature openly expressing his disagreement with the decision just goes on to show how dubious of a call that was. If the umpire who had nothing to do with the outcome of the match couldn’t digest this decision, just imagine what the Indian players, who were fighting hard to win their maiden Test series on South African soil, would have felt after finding themselves on the wrong side of another controversial decision in this closely-fought series. © Reuters The Indian players had every right to feel aggrieved by the decision and one could understand why they reacted in the manner they did.
