  1. The Duke of York was left "crushed and confused" after he was banned from attending the recent event
  2. When Jasprit Bumrah was first spotted by the former head coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri, he was a young lad who couldn’t grow a proper beard but had the potential to dominate the game across all formats of the game. Regardless of whatever was happening on the field, Bumrah somehow managed to keep the ever-pleasing smile on his face. Be it the umpires missing out on a plum of a call or one of his teammates dropping a dolly, the pacer stayed calm and rarely frowned. Soon enough, his happy face became a benchmark for the emphatic Indian cricket fans on social media who started making jokes and memes about how the unorthodox bowler stuck to his demeanour even under the most stressful situations, but all those jokes were out of the love and comfort of seeing their favourite bowler ever-so-joyous expressions. But then, a couple of months ago, something changed in the 28-year-old when he started butting heads with England’s Jos Butler on Day 5 of the Lord’s Test. While the initial reason for the exchange between the two international cricketers was unknown, the fact that Bumrah stood his ground and confronted an opposing cricketer seemed to stun a lot of the fans. Some welcomed this change with open arms were others stuck with the narrative of cricket being the game of gentlemen and criticised the Indian pacer for lowering his standards. Now, once again, during the second Test match between India and South Africa, Bumrah found himself in the middle of a similar situation and reacted the same way. After sustaining multiple hits off bouncers being delivered by the Protea series debutant and Mumbai Indians teammate, Marco Jansen while batting as a tailender, Bumrah walked up to him in frustration and shared a few words of competition himself. On Twitter, for instance, South African legend Steyn responded to a post about the angry looks being exchanged between Jansen and Bumrah while criticising the latter for not being able to take the hits with a cool and calm head. I swear I remember Bumrah doing the same thing to a Mr James Anderson not too long ago. Learn to take it kid. — Dale Steyn (@DaleSteyn62) January 5, 2022 “This anger thing is interesting. It happened in England as well. I don’t like this side of Bumrah. It’s a side of Bumrah I don’t want to see too much of. I like it when things get really hot, he has a smile on his face, like he usually does,” Manjrekar said in an interaction with ESPNcricinfo. To look at Bumrah getting angry is definitely something new and it is a human tendency to not be okay when things change. However, for famed cricketers like Steyn, who is a pacer, and has had his share of arguments, to call him out like that is highly unhealthy for the game of cricket and bowling as a whole. It would have been interesting to see if Steyn would have said something similar if it was his former RCB teammate Virat Kohli talking trash with Jansen or would he have complimented him for bringing the competition to the field. 3. After many speculations and rumours, it is now confirmed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya are heading for divorce. The couple announced the same on their respective social media accounts and went public with their decision. They wrote, ‘After much deliberation and thought, we have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on.’ © Instagram/Samantha_love View this post on Instagram Their fans have been heartbroken, and since the announcement, several hashtags have been trending on Twitter. This happened just five days ahead of their wedding anniversary. People from the industry, too, are extending their support for the duo. © Instagram/Siddharth One of the first lessons I learnt from a teacher in school... "Cheaters never prosper." What's yours? — Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) October 2, 2021 However, Siddharth took to Twitter and spoke about 'cheaters' in a cryptic tweet. The timing of the tweet clashed with the couple's divorce news, and many surmised that it is linked with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's separation. Siddharth said in the tweet, "Cheaters never prosper." Soon after, he was called out by the people for his 'cheap behaviour. For the unversed, Siddharth and Samantha too dated back in the days. They were together for a while in 2013 My teacher taught this 'jealousy doesn't gives growth to self and also our surrounded ppl' Try to respect one's life in good and bad times. — Meena (@Meena22670122) October 2, 2021 One user wrote, "Honestly this was not at all required at this moment. She might be your ex gf , and now she might be chay's ex wife that doesn't mean she's a cheater or a bad person. She is till the same bold, independent woman "Samantha". (@namitaj68) October 2, 2021As for Siddharth and Samantha, they worked together in a Telugu movie, Jabardasth. As per reports, they were together for almost two and a half years, but they never confirmed their relationship status. However, their chemistry turned sour later, and the two parted ways. Samantha then dated Chaitanya in 2014, and after being together for three years, the two married in 2017 in Goa. View the full article
