  1. Right from Suniel Shetty to Anil Kapoor, the film industry now boasts of quite a few 'super fit dads', who sometimes end up giving their own children major complexes when it comes to their fitness game. While Bollywood has quite a few famous names when it comes to that, regional film industries are not lagging behind at all. via GIPHY When it comes to the Tamil film industry, the achievements of the one and only Chiyaan Vikram are quite frankly uncountable, and now he has added one more feather to that already overloaded cap by introducing himself as one of the fittest dads around. He just shared the big screen with his son Dhruv, in the much awaited movie 'Mahaan'. View this post on Instagram Even though the movie has garnered mixed reviews, the father son duo has impressed everyone with their fitness game. Fans were initially flabbergasted seeing them on screen together, and in fact most of them opined that they looked more like 'brothers' and not father-son. View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram Individually, both of their fitness games are on point, and super inspirational to fans. While Chiyaan Vikram has maintained his incredible physique for decades, changing his appearance as required for his roles, his son Dhruv clearly has taken after dad, and has been working super hard on his own fitness. 2. Virat Kohli became a household name in the country after he led the Indian Under-19 team to their second World Cup in 2008. It was the same year when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to come up with the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Kohli was roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Ever since the inception of the IPL, Kohli has been a part of the RCB camp. He overtook the captaincy role in the franchise in 2013 and after leading the team for nine years, the former India captain decided to step down as the skipper of the team. From 2008 to 2021, Virat Kohli has come a long way. : IPL/BCCI#RCBvKKR #RCB #KKR #IPL #IPL2021 #CricTracker pic.twitter.com/X8ihWwaQva — CricTracker (@Cricketracker) April 18, 2021 While the Bengaluru-based franchise has always made Kohli feel at home during all the previous 14 editions of the IPL, it was not the case in the inaugural edition of the league. Kohli, while speaking on an RCB podcast, recalled an incident from his early days at RCB where the team's treatment towards him left Kohli disappointed. "After the season, because I was an Under-19 boy, I was sent to the airport in an Omni van. Everyone else was getting a decent car to go, and I was the only one that was left, and they probably would have said just give him anything and just get him to the airport," Kohli said during the podcast. Image 1 "And that was not a good car, I’m sorry to say, but I would have loved at least a decent car which was not broken, something through which I could see the road, this one was on its last leg. So, not a good memory," Kohli added. It is hard to imagine Kohli travelling in an Omni van, especially considering he is now one of the most popular cricketers in the world and that he is the brand ambassador of one of the leading luxury car brands -- Audi. The Rahul Dravid-led side could only manage to win four matches out of 14. Kohli had scored 165 runs in 13 matches at an average of 15 in 2008. His best season as a batter came in 2016 when Kohli amassed 973 runs at a staggering average of 81.08. The then RCB skipper hit four centuries and seven half-centuries in that season but he could not manage to take the team to the title as Bengaluru lost to SRH in the summit clash. 3. India suffered their first-ever loss in a Test match at the Wanderers on Thursday as South Africa made light work of the 240-run target set by the visitors. As the hosts levelled the three-match series, the cricketing fraternity started pointing fingers at the loopholes in the Indian batting. One name that was heavily criticised for being lacklustre in his approach was Rishabh Pant. The young wicket-keeper has failed to make his presence felt in the ongoing tour of South Africa and the way he got out for a duck in the second innings of the 2nd Test did not go well with many cricket experts. It's Kagiso Rabada again Rishabh Pant makes the long walk back for a duck! Watch #SAvIND live on https://t.co/CPDKNxoJ9v (in select regions) #WTC23 | https://t.co/WrcdXdQlUm pic.twitter.com/0dAn6LsYOW — ICC (@ICC) January 5, 2022 Legendary India batter Sunil Gavaskar was one of the cricket pundits who minced no words while expressing his disapproval of the attitude shown by Pant in the lost Test match. Gavaskar had said that the way Pant went about his business, it is not the way one should play and added that Rahul Dravid must have given him an earful in the change room after he walked back to the pavilion, playing an unnecessary shot. "That is not the way to play and I am pretty certain that in the change room, Rahul Dravid would have given him a hearing, or as they say in cricket, Dravid must have given him a 'bamboo'," Gavaskar had said. View this post on Instagram The legendary cricketer, who was furious at Pant, seems to have taken a cue from politicians who are known to eat their own words as he made a complete u-turn on his criticism of Pant and said that his dismissal alone was not the only reason behind India's loss in Johannesburg. Gavaskar mentioned that while Pant's dismissal was not pretty to watch, to say that the team lost because of that dismissal is not right. He asserted that India should have scored more runs, especially in the first innings after getting off to a good start. Good Feeling pic.twitter.com/fhrAEYsV6H — Rishabh Pant (@RishabhPant17) January 19, 2021 “Whatever you might say about that particular shot, it was not pretty to watch for sure, but it was not the reason that India lost. India should have scored more runs, batting first they had a pretty decent start but they weren't able to capitalise on it and get to 280-300,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports' post-match show. This sudden change of perception of Pant by Gavaskar makes us wonder that the legendary cricketer would've managed to play a successful knock even in the field of politics. Pant has had a dismal run with the bat but he has proved in his short career so far that when he gets going, he can turn the match around in a flash. Indian fans will be hoping that Pant comes good in the series decider in Cape Town as the visitors continue their search for a maiden Test series win in the Rainbow Nation. View the full article

  5. The Fantastic Beasts franchise may not be as loved and successful as the original Harry Potter movie franchise, but it does have a large section of fans worldwide. This is merely down to the fact that even when the Potter franchise was stopped, people, mostly Potterheads, wanted more of it. Well, Warner Bros delivered and we got three magic-filled movies that starred Eddie Redmayne as the Hufflepuff drafted, magical beast-lover Newt Scamander. © Warner Bros Now, while the second movie of the franchise may have not had the best reception, the casting of Johnny Depp as Grindelwald in the film, really struck a chord with the fans. © Warner Bros Depp, through his tremendous acting abilities, did more than justice to the role in the film, and that along with the portrayal of Redmayne's Newt would remain to be the few things good about the actual film. However, following Depp's personal problems with ex-wife Amber Heard, Warner Bros chose to sack Depp and replace him in the third Fantastic Beasts film with Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen. © Warner Bros Now, with the release of the trailer of the third film Secrets of Dumbledore, fans got to witness Mads' portrayal of Grindelwald. While he sure looks promising in the role, it looks like Depp fans are not having any of it, and are choosing to boycott the whole franchise. "I won't watch this movie without Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp is my Grindelwald. Boycott fantastic beasts 3. Boycott Warner bros" one Depp supported wrote on Twitter. Other than this, the trailer has really been met with a positive response with fans really loving the movie centering around Hogwarts again. It might actually be a good time to be a Potterhead again! 6. Ryan Reynolds is surely a super funny guy! Not just in movies, but surely in real life as well. I mean, you only have to look at his social media posts with his wife Blake Lively to fully understand the depth of his insane humour. © Reuters Now, before the exceptionally good-looking actor starred in the insanely funny superhero franchise 'Deadpool', Ryan actually filmed a couple of decent rom-com films. Known to be quite a versatile actor, Ryan starred opposite actress Sandra Bullock in the hit 2009 film 'The Proposal'. © Touchstone Pictures Now, as you know about Hollywood movies, their censor board isn't quite like the censor board that we have in India. This means that a lot of the *** scenes or intimate scenes can actually go on screen without there being the usage of flowers, leaves, or anything green. However, there is clearly a hilarious revelation from the movie which Sandra Bullock shared not so long ago. There is a scene in the movie where both Sandra and Ryan bump into each other buck naked, and while we only get to see what came out in the movie, there were a lot of other things while actually filming the scene. Sandra, while opening about the filming of the naked scene, admitted to not trying to look down at Ryan's genitals. “We had a closed set, which means no one’s allowed to be on there, just hair and makeup coming into fluff and hide. Ryan and I have these flesh-coloured things stuck to our privates, my hair is strategically over the nipples, and Ryan’s little— not little, at all! It’s just whatever’s there, and I don’t know because I didn’t see it, I didn’t look!… When they’d say cut, we couldn’t really move.” Sandra told Screenrant. Describing some graphic details about the scene, she would constantly tell herself not to look down, despite wanting to. “He was on his back with his knees up, and I’m on the floor just sort of resting on his knees, just waiting, and you don’t wanna look and we couldn’t really move…I hear [director] Anne Fletcher from the darkness go, ‘Ryan, we can see your ball sac!’ I’m like, ‘Oh God!’ because you wanna look down but I’m like, ‘Don’t look down. Don’t look down.’ Everyone in the darkness spun around to see if they could find a monitor. I was like, ‘Anne, there’s a way to present that information….'” she added. This seriously sounds super funny and we're kind of glad she can be so open about things. From what we've seen of Ryan in movies and social media, he too would be a pretty good sport about it too!
