  1. This story is not going to be about some hard-hitting facts about some sport or a shocking revelation about an athlete's past. No, this story is about the essence of sports and how it transcends every limitation and restriction that bounds a person in his day to day life from achieving greatness. I am talking about a video that went viral on social media and for all the right reasons too. Uploaded on Twitter by @YoungBullBlade, the video shows his uncle standing in front of a basketball ring with a ball in his hands, in the family's backyard with his family members surrounding him with their cameras ready. So what was all the fuss about? Turns out the man was completely blind and it was his first attempt of trying to score a basket. With his nephews cheering him on, getting him hyped up about his first shot, this man looked ready to let that ball fly. “Shoot towards my voice, uncle. Right here. Right in front of you.” @YoungBullBlade said, to help his uncle get a sense of direction of where the ring was and without lingering on too much, the man released the ball which landed on the ring, hit the backboard and eventually sunk into the basket. At this point, the blind uncle found himself smiling ear to ear, surrounded by his family members jumping all around him, brimming with excitement and sheer love. My uncle blind y'all, and made a free throw on his first try pic.twitter.com/aHYSFmm9Ri — ä¹ã¥åáªä¹ ðª (@YoungBullBlade) May 28, 2019 And I know what you are thinking right now. “What's such a big deal with a blind man scoring a basket which is not even a part of competition?” To which I say this: It is not always about competing, or playing only to decide who wins or loses. Sure in the world we live in now, sports, like any other profession, has gotten itself an ugly face of aggression and ruthlessness but every once in a while, somewhere, in some corner of the world, something like this happens that reminds us of the true purpose of sports. Kudos to his family for making him feel so great about himself and allowing us the opportunity to get involved in celebrating his life
  2. In a society where people don't want to 'meddle' or interfere in others' affairs, even if that 'affair' means someone dying on the road, can we imagine people going out of their way to help someone who is a complete stranger? Can we imagine someone coming forward to actually help instead of clicking pictures and recording videos? Ask yourself guys, How often have you gone beyond your way to help a stranger? But, Babu Muddrappa is different and probably that's the reason he deserves all our respect. © BCCL Babu Muddrappa, just like any other day, was driving his auto in Bengaluru. On April 15, while looking for passengers, his life changed in a way even he didn't expect. Babu saw a pregnant woman lying on the road, screaming in pain. Although there were a lot of people standing around the woman, nobody came forward to help. So without thinking twice, Muddrappa rushed the pregnant woman to a nearby hospital, but due to lack of facilities she was referred to CV Raman Hospital. Since the woman could barely speak and refused to give details about her family, Babu admitted her with whatever money he had at the moment. © Pexels Thanks to Babu's selflessness, the woman reached the hospital in time and gave birth to a baby girl. However, what happened next broke our heart, but also raised our respect for Babu. The baby was facing trouble breathing and the mother had abandoned the baby and fled the hospital. Babu wrapped the baby in a cloth and drove his auto as fast as he could, to take her to another hospital in Shivajinagar for better treatment. He used all his savings to admit the baby and took care of her like his own child, while praying to God for her health. From getting milk for the baby every day, taking care of all the hospital bills to going to police stations in search of the missing mother, Babu did everything he could in his capacity. © Pexels However, after a few days, the baby's condition deteriorated and she passed away. He told The Logical Indian, "My heart broke. I decided to bury the baby myself, along with some police officers. In those few days, I had developed love and fondness for the baby." He further said, "I do not know if the woman who fled will ever be found, or what will follow. While I feel sad every time I think of the little girl who died, I am also aware that I did everything in my power to help both the mother and the child." People like Babu Muddrappa make this world a better place to live in.
  3. Styling your hair in the summer can be a tricky thing. You do not just have to keep it cool around the nape of your neck but also make sure you're not getting a nerdy look while you're at it. Besides, humidity is also a major concern in summers. So here's a guide to great summer hairstyles that you could use to show to your stylist next time you visit the salon. 1. The Fading Buzz Cut © Instagram The fading buzz cut is characterized by tapered sides with a short crop on top. This army-inspired buzz cut goes well with all kinds of face structures and especially works great with a well-groomed beard. 2. Low-Fade Spikes © Instagram A low-fade with a cropped (but slightly spiked) fringe is honestly great for the summer, since fades have been up and running for a long time. Plus, this hairstyle suits every hair type! 3. The Crop Top © Instagram Think Thomas Shelby from 'Peaky Blinders'; that's exactly what we're talking about. The crop top is a refined look and is understated yet contemporary. It involves a gradual fade on the side with focused short hair on the top-front. It is versatile and can achieve both clean and messy looks with wax. 4. A Faded Mess © Instagram For men with considerable volume on top, Kartik Aaryan can be your inspiration for getting a faded mess. The key is to play with texture on top and keep the sides short by opting for a fade, to make the cut look a lot more dramatic. 5. The Slick-Back Look © Instagram This look requires mid-length hair to give it a tamed mold. Wax or gel is a necessary tool to create this look: you can either direct it to the back or flip it to one side to give it a structured look. This hairstyle blends well with an au naturel beard, a moustache or even a fresh clean-shaven look. 6. The Disconnected Crop © Instagram A hairstyle with a longer length at the top and a fade on the sides. The good thing about this hairstyle is that you can style it whichever way you fancy. You could go all neat for an office meeting or choose a dishevelled look for the after party. You cannot go wrong with this versatile hairstyle. 7. The Casual Dishevelled Look © Instagram This look is for the low-maintenance guys who only prefer the rolled-out-of-bed look. Just keep a high-quality hairbrush and hairdryer handy. Before the big party, swipe the brush through your hair for a good look. 8. The Mad Men Look © Instagram A hairstyle inspired by the 'Mad Men', this elegant, clean look is a great choice for working professionals. This style is suitable for straight, fine hair but needs a little help of styling products. 9. The Bon Chic Look © Getty Images Inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio's legendary haircut in Titanic, the bon chic look is a classic style of the 90s that is back in force this year. We love this messy-tousled style for its casual yet playful look.
  4. Google announced a bunch of cool new Android Q features last night during the Google I/O 2019 keynote, and the update is now available for a bunch of smartphones. But before we check out the list of phones that will receive the update, here are all the cool new features of Android Q: Live Caption © YouTube Live caption feature, as the name suggests, will put an end to your subtitle woes. Yes, Google has revealed that this particular feature will take the words spoken in a video and display captions in real time. Live caption feature is not limited to just the videos you watch on, say, YouTube or Netflix, it can even show you captions in a video you've taken on your phone or any videos which you've received on WhatsApp, etc. So cool, right? Dark Mode © YouTube Yup, Android Q is getting a system-wide dark mode called 'Dark Theme'. So, the dark mode, besides making your phone look cool, can also help you get a little more juice out of your phone's battery. On Android Q, you'll be able to enable the dark mode by simply switching a toggle. New Gesture Navigation © YouTube Gesture navigation is something which Google had introduced with the last version of Android, but now, it's going all in. Honestly, we think it's very similar to the gesture navigation which we have on the iPhones. Here's how it works - In Android Q, there's now a thin, long white bar at the bottom instead of the 'pill and back button combo. You can simply swipe up from within an app to go home or swipe up and drag across to go into the multitasking view. To get to the app drawer, you can just swipe up from the home screen. To go back to the previous screen, you can swipe in from either side of the display. Yes, the new gestures on Android Q are very similar to Apple offers on the new iPhones, but it's not necessarily a bad thing because the iPhones gestures are fluid and they work like a charm. Permissions and Privacy © YouTube Much of the Google I/O keynote last night was about security and privacy features. Yes, Google seems to be taking the user privacy very seriously, and it shows with this new build of Android. The company has added a new 'Privacy section to settings, which will have a mix of different settings to let you take control of your privacy. There's a lot of ground to be covered in this section, but the gist of it all is that Google is very serious about user privacy and it wants the users to be on the front and centre of it all. Focus Mode © Google Google already introduced an extensive set of features to keep you away from the phone under the 'Digital Wellbeing' tag last year with Android P. Well now, the company is adding a new feature called 'Focus Mode'. This new mode is just like Do Not Disturb feature, except you'll be able to pick the apps that you find distracting or tempting, and shut them down for some time. It's a simple idea, but we think it'll users be more productive. Apart from the aforementioned features, Android Q brings a lot of other new things like Parental control, changes to notifications, the way the security updates are handled, and more. List of phones that can enrol in the Android Q beta - · Google Pixel 3, 3XL · Google Pixel 3a, 3a XL · Google Pixel 2, 2XL · Google Pixel, XL · ASUS Zenfone 5Z · Essential PH-1 · Nokia 8.1 · Huawei Mate 20 Pro · LG G8 ThinQ · OnePlus 6T · Oppo Reno · Realme 3 Pro · Sony Xperia XZ3 · Tecno Spark 3 Pro · Vivo X27 · Vivo NEX S · Vivo NEX A · Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G · Xiaomi Mi 9 If you have any of the devices mentioned above, you can now enrol for the Android Q Beta and check out all the new features.
  5. After making a sensational comeback to the tournament last season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) seems to have carried on the winning momentum in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 'Yellow Brigade' won three consecutive games before their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) brought their winning streak to an end. Ahead of their fifth match, Chennai were dealt a major blow after their star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was ruled out for upto two weeks due to a hamstring injury. But, that didn't really matter, at least in that game, as Chennai returned to winning ways after beating Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 22 runs in their last match. With four wins in five games, Chennai look solid in their title defence as they occupied the second spot in the IPL points table. But, their sixth match presented a stern test to CSK as they geared up to host table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in what promises to be a pulsating contest. Twitter/@IPL While the high-flying KKR side is full of match-winners, one man in particular, Andre Russell, posed a threat greater than anyone. To put things in perspective, the West Indian has amassed 207 runs in just five games and currently leads the list of cricketers with most sixes in the tournament with a tally of 22 maximums. There has been a big debate around how Chennai can stop the so-called 'RussellMania' in a bid to topple KKR from the top. Many pointed out Russell's troubles against leg-spinners and opined that Imran Tahir might just be the man to halt the marauding run of the right-handed batsman. But, it seems, skipper MS Dhoni has other plans. Just #Thala things before the game ðð¤#CSKvKKR pic.twitter.com/DXU6hNHEgx — IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) April 9, 2019 Ahead of their exciting clash, the Jharkhand cricketer, who is generally known for his blistering batting and lightening quick glovework, was seen bowling in the practice session at the MA Chidambaram stadium. While we aren't really sure if he would actually bowl in the match today, but the sight of Dhoni bowling his medium-paced deliveries surely got the fans excited on the social media. 6. I've had this similar conversation dozens of times in the recent past when someone has taken an interest in what I do. Person: So what does Invision Community do? Me: We develop and sell an independent community platform. Person: Oh. Neat. I used to say the F word. But this used to cause some confusion. 'We develop and sell a forum system'. This used to elicit a response similar to this: "Forums? They're still going?" This line of thinking is quite prevalent among those who frequent Facebook, or use Facebook Groups to manage their micro communities. Even though they probably use forums regularly, or end up on forum topics when searching for things like "Why is my iPhone not charging", they don't realise this. I recently guested on a podcast, where we spoke about "Facebook or Forums?", and I received this comment. It appears, then, that the word "forums" has a lot of legacy connotations attached to it. It conjures up images of the past when Netscape Navigator was the world's favourite browser, and AOL was still mailing out CDs. That is all ancient history now, and we've moved with the times. The product we have now has roots in the product from the early 2000s but it is wildly different and much more capable. When you explain that you can segment discussions into separate areas (aka forums), and even set up independent micro-communities (clubs), you can see lightbulbs going off. "That's amazing! I had no idea! So you mean I don't have to have my community in a single stream struggling for attention among adverts?" Nope, there is another way. Why not try an independent community platform? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Do you avoid the F word too?
  7. Who doesn't like showing off their arms at parties? But what do you do when you're in a rush and are short on time? How do you get those pumped up biceps? Well, worry not. We've got your back. 8. If you're looking to start afresh with a new job, or life after a breakup, the first step should be an exciting makeover. A makeover not only changes the way you look but gives you a much-needed boost in your self-esteem so that you can exude confidence wherever you go. We're talking experimenting with your wardrobe: adding diverse colours to it. Adding accessories to your outfit to add extra detail and changing your haircut. Or getting a new perfume. Now, we understand that getting a change in haircut can be super stressful. From deciding what goes with your face shape and hair texture to save yourself from a major disaster. But don't you worry, here is a definite guide to interesting hairstyles that you should definitely try. The best part about these hairstyles is that they've been curated and mastered by Michel Baltzar, Lead Hairstylist and the Creative Director of Training & Education at Jean-Claude Biguine, India. 1. The GI JOE Look (a.k.a The Fading Buzz Cut) © Twitter An extremely popular style in the Latino culture, the fading buzz cut is characterized by tapered sides with a short crop of hair on top. “The best thing about this army inspired buzz cut is that it goes well with all kinds of face structures and especially works great with a well-groomed beard,” says Michel. The contouring if done right, can give you a strong, sharp and slick look. “It's also hassle-free and requires literally no styling or setting on a daily basis,” adds Michel, this look is fairly low maintenance if you don't count the fortnightly salon trips needed to retouch/trim the hair growth. (which is a great bargain for a sharp look like that) 2 The Crop Top © YouTube This style has been around for a long time in Europe, especially in England and is making a strong comeback this year around the world. Think Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders, that's exactly what we're talking about. “The crop top is a refined look and is understated yet fashionable. It involves a gradual fade on the side with focused short hair on the top-front,” says Michel. Being highly versatile, you can achieve both clean and messy looks with this cut. “Wax is ideally needed to set the hair in place as per your face structure,” adds Michel. 3 The Slick-Back Look © artofmanliness The classic look requires mid-length hair to give it a tamed appearance. It's a quick way to make your hair look stylish and offers many variations. “Using wax or gel is necessary to create this look, you can either direct it to the back or flip it to one side to give it a structured look,” says Michel. “This hairstyle blends well with an au naturel beard, a moustache or even a fresh clean-shaven look,” adds Michel. 4. The Mad Men Look © madmenfc A hairstyle inspired from the 'Mad Men', this elegant, clean look is a great choice for working professionals. This style is suitable for straight, fine hair but needs a little help of styling products. “You can cop this look by directing your top front hair to the side while following the outline of your head without creating much volume,” says Michel. 5 The BCBG: Bon Chic Bon Genre look © artofmanliness Inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio's legendary haircut in Titanic, this classic style of the 90s is back in force this year. “We love this messy-tousled style for its casual yet playful.
  9. PUBG Mobile and Fortnite have been sensational in 2018 and the craze is yet to fade. While these games undoubtedly redefined the capabilities of mobile gaming on a larger scale, they've also proven to be extremely resource intensive and often addictive. In the past, we've seen games like Temple Run and Pokemon Go become instant hits and the ones who started early ruled the leaderboards. We've compiled a list of games for iOS devices that you should be playing right now. These aren't exhaustive for the phone and also offer the right combination of fun, without the addiction! 1. Garena Free Fire - Winterland © Malavida It is a survival shooter game wherein the player is placed onto a remote island for ten minutes and pitted against 49 players, and the ultimate survivor wins. 10. Most young guys step into the world of fitness watching a famous bodybuilder who's been winning. Some look up to movie stars who went shirtless and swept the audience off their feet. Now, there's nothing wrong with drawing motivation from these personalities, but there's a problem and it's a pretty big one. The Problem is Trying To COPY Them As It Is People start following these famous personalities for nutritional advice, which is the dumbest thing one can do. You know what's even worse than that? Paying these bodybuilders for their diet plans! What most men do not understand is that 1. They do not have the genetic gifts that a pro bodybuilder has. 2. They do not and cannot work out for hours like a pro bodybuilder. 3. They do not use steroids and even if they do, they are nowhere near the dosages that pro bodybuilders inject. All of these things, especially the steroids help these bodybuilders get away with crazy amount of food, at least for a few years. A normal gym rat on the other hand won't get away with for a week. If you try and follow these “muscle gain” diets and you'll get fat and wreck your health. Keep following these diets and you'll start developing a host of problems like anabolic resistance where your ability to pack on muscle mass is seriously impaired due being in an unnecessary caloric surplus for a long period of time. What A Huge Amount Of Uncalculated Food Does © Pinterest It makes you insulin resistant to start with, then comes leptin resistance and when in full swing, it blows you up like a balloon where you even start losing the pump no matter how hard you work a muscle. Strength gains diminish drastically, inflammation is high, and you even start suffering from low libido. Cutting down to lower body fat levels also become very very difficult due to the above mentioned conditions. This is the reason why following the same diets as pro bodybuilders is a very bad idea if you are not using the same amount of exogenous assistance and training the way that they are. Don't Pay For Problems © Pinterest The sad reality is that many people end up buying diet plans from these bodybuilders and internet 'contest-prep' gurus and end up regretting it after they make a mess of their physique. The funny thing is that these Gurus claim that these diets are customized when in reality, they make diet templates and email the one that is the closest to a person's details. Doesn't even come close to being customised for a person's needs and preferences! What Should You Do? When it comes to advice about nutrition and more importantly supplementation, never take the word of a pro bodybuilder for it. These guys are athletes, not nutritionist. Nutrition is not their area of expertise and you would never take the advice of a guy about a field that he is not an expert in, would you? It gets even worse when it comes to supplement as with boom in the supplement industry, every half witted moron who has six pack abs is now a sponsored athlete and expecting a honest advice from a sponsored athlete is quite simply, stupid. Following them for motivation is well and fine but you need to remember that the plans that you buy off the bodybuilders are their plans which were given to them by their Gurus and which they have been following blindly for years. These are neither tailored for your need or preferences nor are scientifically sound. © Pinterest You'll need a lot of trial and error to figure out which eating pattern works best for you. Mindlessly following a diet which makes you stuff your face with bland chicken breast and rice every 3 hours until you puke is the stupidest thing you can do. When in reality, you only need a surplus of around 200-300 calories above your maintenance to build muscles effectively. Don't believe me? Then keep paying someone else for the copy pasted templates and see how far it takes you. Ignorance is expensive. 11. Surely all men have grooming needs, but whether or not you indulge in them is different. And if you're one of those who still believe "but men don't care about looks", it is time you get off that ship right away. The first and the most important step in grooming is picking the right products that will do their magic and not harm your skin or hair in the process. While there's a plethora of mass-produced options in the market, we believe that natural, handmade products always work best. 12. If you plan on getting a moustache, the pornstar moustache probably is the best kind to start with because A, it's easy to grow and maintain unlike a full-on handlebar, and B, it doesn't look like you're trying too hard. Hrithik Roshan started off he year with sporting one, and we think he has never looked cooler. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Now one might argue that Hrithik legit looks like a Greek God and can pull off anything, but why should that mean that you can't? Life is short, and sometimes a seemingly small grooming move can change it for you. Why we think so? Read on. Here are 3 solid reasons why every man should try getting a pornstar moustache, at least once in their life. 1. For the uninitiated, a pornstar moustache or a pornstache derived its name from the '80s, when male pornstars actually used to keep moustaches like these, and it was a rage among the ladies. Lesson to learn from history: Ladies dig moustaches, and they probably won't say it out loud. Get one and find out for yourself if it works! © Viral Bhayani 2. 2018 was all about beards. Now, we aren't saying that the beard is dead, because it never will, but variety is the spice of life, they say. If you have a beard, probably crop it short, and let the moustache grow out, for a swanky new look. If you prefer being clean shaven, why not step up your game and try getting a moustache? It can change everything about how you look. © Viral Bhayani 3. A pornstar moustache is easy to grow and maintain, and it is the only kind of facial hair experiment where not much is at stake. Don't like it? Shave it off or let your beard grow (it will take less than a week for a thick stubble to catch up in most cases). Plus, you can experiment with multiple aesthetics by altering the length of your stubble. It's a win-win, we say! © Viral Bhayani Still not convinced? Take a look at Hrithik. We rest our case.
  13. While Christmas is a time with family and close friends, it also brings in some form of romantic closure. 15. Just like every year, and every season, when Fashion Week rolls around, we are given some style goals, not only by the designers but also by the attendees of the shows. We saw some amazing, creative, and innovative looks when it came to the street style, and these looks are the ones that were making heads turn off stage at the Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week (LMIFW). We've decoded our favourite looks to tell you exactly what you need to get the India Fashion Week street style right. So, here are the 7 essentials we loved from the India Fashion week street style over the last few days: 1. White Shirt Redux © Tarun Chawla White tee-shirts and shirts have been around for forever, and they have been an essential part of every guy's wardrobe. But that doesn't mean there is only one way to do it. So give your basic white shirt a makeover, and embrace prints, embellishments, and even DIY upgrades of this closet essential. We recommend this subtle floral print shirt, if you aren't ready for a full redux © Amazon MRP: Rs 1,259 Buy it here 2. Stripes Aren't Going Anywhere © Tarun Chawla Stripes had been done, dusted, and put away in the farthest reaches of our wardrobes for quite a few years, especially for all the men out there. Stripes were that boring print that every guy with some imagination had put away (and for good reason), until this classic trend made a comeback last season. And now, stripes are everywhere, and on everything. From a shirt to pants, to a blazer, stripes will see you through, and in style. We recommend this striped navy blazer © Amazon MRP: Rs 2,413 Buy it here 3. Reinvent The Kurta © Tarun Chawla It is the festive season after all, and it will be incomplete without the perfect kurta to add just enough of a traditional touch to your look. We saw some really amazing desi inspired street style at India Fashion Week, and it is definitely time to get out the nice starched kurtas your mum always loved. We recommend this asymmetrical cotton kurta © Amazon MRP: Rs 699 Buy it here 4. Don't Ditch The Half Sleeves Yet © Tarun Chawla Most guys have probably been told that a half-sleeved shirt is unflattering, and it's simple, easier, and more stylish to just don a full-sleeved shirt. That is perhaps not completely untrue, half sleeved shirts are hard to pull off, most often than not because they don't fit properly, or have no personality. But a well-tailored, or well-fitting half sleeved shirt can actually make for a very good casual style staple. You can also go for interesting prints to amp up the style a bit more. We recommend this printed half sleeve from M&S © Amazon MRP: Rs 1,372 Buy it here 5. Embrace The Bold Prints © Tarun Chawla Prints are really taking over, and in the last few seasons, they have kind of become their own category. And if you can find a good print, one that captures your vibe, don't forget to experiment with it a bit. Embrace bold prints, by pairing them with subtle pieces and accessories to create a fun and vibrant look. We recommend this navy printed shirt to give off the right vibe © Amazon MRP: Rs 1,149 Buy it here 6. Frame It Well © Tarun Chawla Classic sunglasses will always be a fashion favourite, but it's time to step out of the box a little bit when it comes to frames. Don't just pick between a pair of aviators or wayfarers. Fun frames, like ovals, round frames are really in, and they actually do look good on a lot of people. So, break away from that myth, and try on a few different styled sunglasses. If you are still unconvinced, then simply get yourself a pair of tinted sunglasses, and rock a nice casual outfit with the least effort. We recommend these tinted metal frame sunglasses © Amazon MRP: Rs 666 Buy it here 7. Backpacks Aren't The Only Option © Tarun Chawla We all watched that FRIENDS episode where Joey simply would not let go of a 'man bag', and everyone else wanted him to. Thankfully, gendering the most basic accessories is something that we left in the 2000s. So when you want to get a bag, keep in mind that backpacks aren't the only option. Feel free to experiment with different styles, from manila style folder bags to messenger bags, laptop bags, or a khadi over-sized tote. We recommend this tan satchel, for style, and convenience © Amazon MRP: Rs 780 Buy it here 8. Combat Boots Aren't Only For Punk Kids © Tarun Chawla Summer is behind us now (almost) so it means we can finally wear things other than sandals, and slip-ons, with comfort and ease. And one footwear you must consider are combat boots. In spite much of what pop culture might have us believe, they aren't just for punk bands and actually make for a pretty good accessory. They look good with skinny jeans, cut-offs, flared pants, even ethnic wear, if done right. We recommend these combat boots in black, making it easier to pair with outfits © Amazon MRP: Rs 498 Buy it here
  16. When it comes to setting trends, Bollywood is generally good at both making it and breaking it. But in some instances, Bollywood simply follows them as well. Let us understand whether we could call Bollywood a trend setter or a trend follower or both. Speaking of setting trends, Bollywood has always been the front-runner in the Indian entertainment industry when it comes to fashion and has given a huge impetus to the fashion industry. It surely knows how to up the style statement in every sphere – films, international red carpet appearances, fashion shows or brand endorsements. © Instagram Whether it is Manish Malhotra's fashion shows or Sabyasachi Mukherjee's creation during the Virushka wedding or other B-town celebrities, they definitely know how to make heads turn. Making international appearances, the leading ladies of Bollywood have grabbed a lot of eyeballs by walking down the international red carpet every year and by featuring on the covers of glamorous glossy magazine worldwide. Be it Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the Cannes Film Festival or Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone at the Met Gala; these B-town beauties have always kept the paparazzi on their toes. © Instagram From press conferences to film premieres, high-profile weddings to airport appearances, Bollywood never stays out of style and has become a fashion icon for the most part of the Indian population. With multiple clothing and grooming product endorsements, Bollywood has always raised the style quotient for many Indians. This is quite evident from the huge pay cheques they take home every year. Now, speaking of following trends, Bollywood has been following the footsteps of Hollywood in churning out the same old content in the form of remakes and sequels besides biopics. Also, with the new trend of remixing songs from the late 80s and 90s into present Bollywood films, Bollywood is just copying itself. © Twitter Bollywood has been following the same old trend of film promotions by reaching out to reality shows and guest appearances in TV soaps. Furthermore, it still relies heavily on local language films to bring mass audiences to the theatres. What do you think – is Bollywood good at setting trends or following them? Let us know in the comments below.

It's hard, we get — but that's where charcoal comes handy. It helps in pulling the dirt out, absorbs all the pollutants/excess oil and results in better-looking skin. Besides, it's also an acne-fighting and breakout-diminishing agent (if that's even a term). But while that's all about charcoal, the good news is, it also comes in the form of face masks. That are fortunately, extremely popular among men right now, all thanks to endless charcoal face mask videos on YouTube. But well, it's all for the good. The Man Company Charcoal Peel-Off Mask Moringa & Gooseberry © Amazon India Supremely affordable, the Man Company's charcoal peel-off mask is a lot lighter on the pocket.
